Club Jet, the new club in Cookeville

There is some news floating around the club scene in Cookeville. There is a new club in town, and it's called Club Jet.
Club Jet is located at 942 E. 10th St. and is open from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., which seems unique for a club , but it is because they have a full menu to go along with the full bar. The cover charge is better there than at some of the other clubs in town at $5 for 21 and up and $10 for 18 to 20.
According to Club Jet's Myspace page, drinks are priced the same as other area bars.
They also have four theme nights each week. Wednesdays-Live Band and Music Night, Thursdays-College Night, Fridays-80's and Ladies Night, and Saturdays-Hottest Club in the Upper Cumberland Area Night. They also have promotional weekends like this weekend, which is hosted by Sara Underwood, Playmate of the Year.
Plenty of people in the community and other surrounding areas are already talking about Club Jet.
On Topix, a local news forum, people have commented on many things about the club. Leslie from South Carolina said, "It seemed like a good place to be. But there was no getting drinks hardly. It took me over 30 mintues to get a drink and the bartenders didn't eve know how to make drinks."
Since things like this can be fixed over time, we can only hope that after Club Jet is open a few more weeks that they will get a better grasp on things. It seems that everyone who has commented on the Myspace page has nothing but good things to say about the club.
