The Women's Center, with the help of Center Stage, will host the presentation as part of National Women's History Month.
The National Women's History Project chose "Women Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet" as the March 2009 theme, a topic Sethi is passionate about.
"Ms. Sethi, in her podcasts, encourages us to take responsibility as environmentally aware citizens and to use the technology at our disposal to inspire others to action," Diana Lalani of the Women's Center said.
"Her lecture will focus on working together, across class and cultural barriers, 'to advance sustainable, equitable access to and participation in our natural world.'"
Sethi has appeared on Oprah, NPR and NBC News and is the creator of the Sundance Channel's environmental justice series "The Good Fight."
Sethi currently teaches environmental media courses at the University of Kansas and is working on a book on eco- elitism.
